Chattanooga area Top 20 rankings for male amateur golfers
are published semi-monthly. To be
included in the area rankings, a player must be meet the residency
requirements for the Chattanooga TPC.. The Top 20 rankings are determined by a panel consisting of Mike Jenkins, Chairman, Chattanooga TPC, Sam Woolwine, Executive Sports Editor, Chattanooga Free Press, Chris Dortch, Chattanooga TPC staff writer, Gary Haskew (Dr B.), Co-Host of Sport Talk, and representatives from Black Creek Club, Chattanooga Golf and Country Club, Council Fire Golf Club, Lookout Mountain Golf Club and Valleybrook Golf Club. Each player receives 20 points for each #1 vote, 19 points for each #2 vote, etc., down to 1 point for each #20 vote. Total votes (points) accumulated by each player establishes semi-monthly rankings. |
